PRAYER REQUESTS:  We pray for all in need of God’s healing especially  Susan Daley, grandmother of Sean Scoggins D-7, Eileen McGowen, wife of Tom McGowen of our board of directors, John Renye, former Faculty Member, Don Bartochow, cousin of Mrs. Gana,  John Batley, father of Christian Batley C-1, Anthony Jagielski, Roxanne Hoffman, Ray Marasheski and Jack Finnegan . We pray for all the deceased members of the Father Judge community especially Harry Slevenski, grandfather of Ryan Kelley D-4. We pray for all the victims of the horrific school shooting in Florida. May they Rest In Peace.


SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK: Today (2/21) we are on a Schedule #6 for a Faculty Meeting and the Senior Panoramic Picture in the gym after 8th period. Thursday (2/22) and Friday (2/23) we are on a Regular Schedule #l.


After 8th period all seniors go directly to your lockers and put away all books.  You are then to report directly to the Fox Gym where attendance will be taken.




The quarterly "COOK-IN" returns for the season of Lent!  On Monday, February 26 , you and your family are invited to join us in making meals for home-bound senior citizens.  Please bring in any cooked foods (ham, turkey, chicken, meatball, etc), sides (mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, etc.) or canned goods (peas, carrots, beans, etc...) and we will package them for neighbors in need.  The food items can be dropped off all week in Fr. Jack's Office or the Main Office.  Hot food can be brought to the cafeteria on Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM through the Solly Avenue doors.  You can drop it off or join us to make meals.  This can count as service hours for your son.  Please see Fr. Jack for more information.


THE OBLATE CHANCE DRIVE IS NOW IN PROGRESS:  This is the last chance to earn a “DAY-OFF-CARD.”  Students are encouraged to sell the chances to raise money for the Oblate seminarians and our retired priests. PLEASE MAKE ALL RETURNS DIRECTLY TO MRS. BERTOLINE in Room 102. The drawing will be next Monday, February 26th .

MORNING MASS:  During the season of LENT MASS will be offered twice a week.  We will celebrate the Eucharist every Tuesday morning and every Friday morning at 7:20 AM in the school ORATORY (next to the Activities Office).  All are invited as we prepare our hearts and souls for Easter.

BLOOD DRIVE: The next BLOOD DRIVE is next week – Tuesday, February 27th. Sign up now in Mr. Campellone’s office.  You must be 16 years old to give blood.  See Mr. Campellone for more information.

BASKETBALL MARATHON: The 46th Annual Basketball Marathon to fight Leukemia is next week – Thursday, March 1st. Ask your teachers about getting a team together. Information was emailed to them last week or they may see Mr. Campellone for more information.



VARSITY MATHLETES meeting after school today (2/21) in room 310. Team picture for yearbook will be taken.”



JUNIORS should be using the free practice on www.collegeboard.org to prepare for the SATs!  Be sure to link your college board account with Khan Academy to receive full benefits of the test-taking practice and strategies.  See Guidance if you have questions!



THE FOX GYM will be closed all week. It will not re-open until Friday (2/23) afternoon.


OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD:  Anyone interested in running Outdoor Track and Field please come to an informational meeting after school at 3:30 in the Mitchell Center on Monday February 26th. 


RUGBY will practice every Monday and Wednesday at Ramp Playground 6:45 PM. All are welcome. No experience is necessary.


ATTENTION SPRING STUDENT-ATHLETES: Spring sports start on Monday, March 5. Make sure that you have a completed PIAA Physical Form and handed into the Athletic Department before the start date. If you do not have this completed you will not be able to try-out or participate. If you have any questions please contact the coaches of each of the respective sports.
