The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has contracted FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to use its financial aid processing division to manage the application process which will be used to award aid for the 2020-2021 school year. FACTS Grant & Aid will provide financial aid services for all diocesan schools (high schools, elementary schools and schools of special education).
All currently enrolled families reapplying for any type of aid, as well as prospective families who are seeking admission to Father Judge for their son must complete a FACTS application each year starting in October.

The application is only available to complete online by Clicking Here For Father Judge's FACTS Sign-In Page. There is no hard copy application, only the online application: one application per family. Fee is to be announced.
All families must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application by December 31, 2019 to be considered as a priority application. Financial Aid awards should be made no later than February 1, 2020. All need-based awards are contingent upon receipt of the 2018 taxes.
Income guidelines for 2018-2019 are as follows (subject to change)
1 dependent: Household income of $93,644
2 dependents: Household income of $109,252
3 dependents: Household income of $124,860
4 dependents: Household income of $140,468
5 dependents: Household income of $155,076*
*Add $15,608 for each additional dependent.

Documentation is not submitted at the time the application is completed. Documentation must be submitted after the filing of 2017 taxes. Application IDs must be included on all documents. Failure to include your ID will delay processing of your application.

Notification of Financial Aid
Once your application is processed, a financial aid recommendation will be forwarded to Father Judge High School. All final financial aid decisions, including notification of an award amount (if any), will be made by the Father Judge High School Financial Aid committee. 2. Section 1 – Household Information
* Parent/Guardian: Enter the parent or guardian’s contact information.
* Dependent: Enter all dependents that live in the household.
3. Section 2 – Selecting A School
Enter Father Judge in the search box. If you want to search for schools near you that are participating in the FACTS Grant & Aid program, you can search by city, state and zip code. Make your selection by checking the select check box. Once a school or multiple schools are selected, you will then need to select the student(s) you wish to apply for aid at the appropriate school(s). After the school(s) have been selected, you will then need to select the upcoming grade for the student. (if Clicking “next” after each section will allow you to move on to each subsequent section.
4. Section 3 – Income & Expenses
Enter any income the household receives; employment, business or supplemental. If the work status is selected as ‘employed’, ‘self-employed’, ‘unemployed, receiving benefits’, or ‘disabled, receiving benefits,’ you will be required to enter this income source in the appropriate section before moving through the application. Please enter all expenses as they pertain to your household.
5. Section 4 – Assets & Debts
Enter all assets and debts as they pertain to your household.
6. Section 5 – Special Circumstances
Check off any special circumstance that pertains to your household. If no option available best describes your household’s circumstance, please check ‘other’ and describe your situation. This information is confidential and will only be available to designated School Administration and Smart Aid staff.
7. Section 6 – Submit
If your school uses family school codes, please make the appropriate selection. Agree to FACTS Grant & Aid terms and conditions, then click SUBMIT to complete your online application. Please be sure to enter all fields with accuracy. At this time you will need a credit or debit card to submit payment for the application fee (to be announced).

- How does FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Work?
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment uses key personal and financial information to evaluate your need for financial aid. By completing an application, you will provide the necessary information to help your school administrators make an informed decision about awarding tuition aid. The first step of the process is to complete the online application as accurately as possible with your 2017 taxable information. You will then need to submit your Federal income tax return, W-2 forms, and supporting documentation for non-taxable income to our office for the tax year 2018 by March 31, 2020. The final decision on how much financial aid to be given to each family will rest with the educational institution.
- Who is FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment?
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is an independent, third party company that conducts financial analysis to determine your family's financial need. Father Judge High School receives a confidential report outlining your financial situation based on the information obtained in your application and supporting tax documents.
- I probably don't qualify for aid. Should I apply for aid anyway?
Yes, all currently enrolled families reapplying, as well as prospective families who are seeking admission to Father Judge for their son must complete a FACTS application.
- What is the deadline to apply for financial aid?
Deadline to apply for aid is December 31, 2019 and all applications must be completed with the 2018 Federal Tax returns before March 31, 2019. Applications completed after the March 31, 2020 deadline will only be reviewed if funds are available.
- Why do I have to provide all of this personal and confidential information?
In order to provide your educational institution with an accurate assessment, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment must verify your expenses and household income. By providing us with all of your information, we can assist Father Judge High School in making an informed decision about the amount of financial aid needed for each family.
- What happens if I do not provide all of this information?
Failure to provide all of the necessary information needed to complete the application process may result in your family not receiving financial aid or limit the amount given by the organization providing the award. Deadline to submit all information is March 31, 2020.
- If I do not have all of the necessary information to complete the application online, will I have to start over?
No. As you complete the online application, there will be a "Save and Continue" button at the end of each section. If you are unable to complete the entire application, you can select the "Finish Later" button and continue your application at a later time.
- What if I need to make changes to my application?
If you have submitted your application, you may log on to the FACTS Grant & Aid website with your username and password to access your application and make corrections or changes. Schools you have applied to will be notified of changes to your application from the original submission.
- How can I check the status of my application?
Once you have completed the online application, you will be able to log on to the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment website with a username and password to check the status of your application. The username and password will be created by you the first time that you log on. If you have misplaced your username and password, you will need to contact a FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment team member at 866-441-4637 or e-mail email@example.com.
- Will FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment send me a copy of my assessment?
No. The assessment of your application will be sent only to Father Judge and any other school you may have applied to. Information sent to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to complete your assessment, such as your 1040 tax form or W-2, will not be returned to you.
- What happens to the tax forms and W-2 information that is submitted to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment?
All documentation received from an applicant is imaged upon receipt and then destroyed for security purposes.
A new application must be completed each year.
Each new applicant will receive a letter of a preliminary award for the 2020/2021 school year. This award is preliminary until your 2018 tax information (W-2, PA 1040, Social Security, etc.) is posted to your FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment account, income guidelines are verified and the application is marked complete. Please note that some foundations will also need the 2019 tax information. All families will want to complete the application by December 31, 2019 to be considered as a priority application.
Please keep in mind that all financial information for the 2018 tax year must be sent to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by March 31, 2020. No award will be posted to your FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment account for credit for the first payment June, 2020 for the 2020/2021 school year until all requirements are fulfilled. Federal tax information must be completed and posted for 2018 or 2019 Federal tax year. Father Judge High School funds are not transferable to any other school.
If a student does not meet the requirements per semester (academics, conduct, absences) he will become ineligible for this scholarship for the following semester. Grades will be checked in January of each year. E.I.T.C Scholarships are not guaranteed year-to-year and are subject to availability of funds.
All financial need-based aid must be reapplied for each year.
Applying is recommended but does not guarantee aid will be awarded.

* Mortgage amount and property tax information
* You will need a debit or credit card to pay the $35.00 application fee to FACTS Grant & Aid for the application.
* When you complete your 2018 Federal tax returns we can scan the information to FACTS Grant & Aid for you.
* You may also complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application at home on your own.
