Drumline Springfield Trip

Dear Students & Parents,

Your student has been invited to represent Father Judge High School as a member of the Father Judge Drumline at the Springfield Marching Band Show on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Springfield High School, 200 S. Rolling Road, Springfield, PA 19064.

This competition is a great opportunity for our Drumline to showcase their hard work, musical talents, and Crusader pride while competing alongside other area marching bands.

Students should meet at the back of Father Judge High School by the track prior to departure. Students are expected to arrive on time, follow all directions from their moderators, and represent Father Judge with pride and respect. As this event takes place on a Saturday, no classes will be missed.

I give permission for my son to participate in the Father Judge High School-sponsored field trip described above. I understand that this is a school-sponsored activity taking place outside the regular school environment. I authorize my son to travel to and from the field trip using the transportation arrangements approved by Father Judge High School. I understand that my son must remain with the group and may not leave the activity or arrange alternate transportation without prior school approval. I understand that all Father Judge High School rules, policies, and behavioral expectations remain in effect during this field trip. My son is expected to follow directions from faculty and chaperones, demonstrate appropriate behavior, and represent Father Judge High School respectfully. In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency, I authorize school personnel to seek appropriate emergency medical assistance for my son. I understand that reasonable efforts will be made to contact me as soon as possible and that I am responsible for medical expenses not covered by insurance. I understand that participation in field trips may involve ordinary risks associated with transportation, travel, walking, and activities outside of the school building. I acknowledge these risks and voluntarily authorize my son to participate. I understand that Father Judge High School will provide reasonable supervision and take appropriate safety precautions.
