Welcome to the “Office” of Student Affairs!
The word “office” is misleading in that Student Affairs is really so much more – and it cannot be contained in one room or even one building. Father Judge High School is part of the everyday life of our students and their families. From sports and student council, to dances and concerts, Father Judge offers something for everyone. Students, faculty, families, and alumni are all invited to continue the “quest” to be their best as part of the Father Judge family.
70% of our students are involved in some kind of extracurricular activity. This includes sports, social and spiritual clubs and teams. Even more of our students get involved in the many special events that are offered throughout the school year: dances, dress-down days, spirit activities, and special fund-raisers. All of these activities are part of our philosophy to educate the “whole person” in mind, body and spirit. This was the philosophy of our patron, St. Francis de Sales, and this is the foundation that still guides our approach to education.
The Office of Student Affairs is also assisted by the Father Judge Parents Association (FJPA). Each team has their own parent group that supports and assists the coaches. Our alumni and local businesses are also very generous in helping our school and the many events we sponsor.
Hopefully this introduction has shown that there are many activities for all members of the Fr. Judge family to become involved with. From incoming freshmen and their families to alumni and their grandchildren, the Fr. Judge community is about staying connected! Please know that staying in touch with you and answering any of your questions is what the Office of Student Affairs is all about. Please feel free to call me at school (215.338.9494.ext.1113) or my assistant, Mrs. Anne Marie Bertoline (ext. 1128) or email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions or concerns.
I hope to see you at the next event!
God bless you,
Fr. Jack Kolodziej, OSFS
