“As I start my high school career I am looking forward to making new friends, having classes that will challenge me and meeting teachers who will challenge me to be the best student I can be. I also want to join clubs that give back to the community and look forward to playing on some sports teams. Most of all I just want to be a part of the Father Judge experience.” Matt Comas, St. Christopher School FJ Class of 2020 Neumann Scholarship Winner
We encourage your son to take a tour of our school and follow the roster of a current student for an up-close-and-personal view of a typical day at Father Judge. However, unlike other high schools that make him sit in a classroom for 8 periods as a “shadow” we will give your son the opportunity to truly experience what his life will be like on the college-like campus of Father Judge.
He must wear his school uniform (no shorts). We will provide him with an official Columbia Blue Father Judge golf shirt to wear in the fall months or a Father Judge sweater in the winter months. And, since he will be using our interactive Chromebook technology in the classroom when he arrives as a freshman in the Class of 2021, he will also get to use a designated FJ Chromebook on his Crusader Day. Oh, and by the way, lunch is free too!
- Arrive at 8:30 in the Admissions Welcome Center and meet your Crusader Companion at 9:00
- 2nd period class through 6th period class from 9:00 – 1:00
- Admissions wrap up from 1:00 – 1:15
- Go home at 1:20
If your son knows a current freshman at Father Judge, and would like to spend the day with that student, you can request you to do so (freshman requests are not guaranteed). If he has a special extracurricular interest or plays a sport, we can match him up with a Father Judge student who also has similar interests.
Although the program runs from October 4th through April 11th, special reserved seats are required.
Call our Admissions Assistant, Jen Corcoran, at 215-338-9494, ext. 1158 to schedule your son's Day in the Life of a Crusader!
“I chose Father Judge because after I was awarded a Neumann Scholarship I wanted to make the best of this opportunity and attend what I consider to be the best high school in the Diocese. I’ve seen the people that represent the students, faculty, and alumni at Father Judge, and I planned to join this community, and the Neumann Scholarship was my ideal opening. I am looking forward to undergoing a new life in academics, athletics and atmosphere at Father Judge as I begin this new career.” Brendan McLernan, St. Christopher School, FJ Class of 2020 and Neumann Scholarship Winner
