Course Requirements: Covered Textbook, loose leaf binder, graph paper, folder, pencils, pens, 6”ruler, Large Index Cards, TI 84 plus/silver edition graphing calculator.
Important Information Read Carefully!!
1. All class notes and assignments are to be recorded on loose leaf. Everything is to be dated and indicated with the page and problems. Periodically your homeworks will be collected and graded. Stay organized!!
2. Homework/Worksheets which are collected will be graded. The average of those collected HW’s counts as a Major Mark
3. All Major Tests will be announced and given on ‘A’ and ‘D’ days.
4. Group/Individual Projects and Presentations will be graded as a Major Mark
5. Each class will have an official student notetaker who will be used as a resource for absent students. This notetaker will be responsible for recording all class notes and/or assignments. He will receive extra-credit for this task and this job will rotate each quarter.
6. I will be available after 8th period in Room 308 for anyone who needs help. Please don’t hesitate to get tutoring. See me ASAP if you are having difficulties.
7. Advanced Placement Test Preparation and review will be in effect for the entire school year with the greatest emphasis in April and May.
8. Be prepared for each class. Set high standards for yourself and work very hard to attain your goals.
9. Whenever feasible, work together and help one another. “Share the wealth”.
10. Varsity Mathletes is open to all Juniors and Seniors. Listen to the homeroom announcements for details.
11. LATE SUBMISSIONS of Homeworks/Worksheets/Projects will immediately result in a loss of 30 POINTS.
12. Please log onto gradeconnect.com and sign into 345-01. This must be done by September 10th
