Tutoring
We are excited to announce that tutoring sessions for the academic year 2023-2024 will officially commence on Monday, September 18th, 2023.
Below, you will find the tentative tutoring schedule, which includes before-school, after-school, and lunch-period sessions from Monday through Thursday. Although tutoring will not be provided on Fridays, students are still encouraged to use the facility as a place to study or review work as needed. Please note that there are specific exceptions to the tutoring schedule, so it is essential to review the tutoring operations based on each bell schedule outlined below:
Schedule #1, #2, #3, & #7 Days
- Tutoring is available before school: 7:15 am - 7:45 am
- Tutoring is available during all lunch periods: 3, 4, 5 & 6
- Tutoring is available after school: 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm
Schedule #4
- Tutoring is ONLY available before school: 7:15 am - 7:45 am
Schedule #5
Schedule #6
- NO Tutoring is available before school
- Tutoring is available during all Lunch Periods: 3, 4, 5 & 6
- Tutoring is available after school: 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm
Please note that if the school schedule does not follow Schedule #1, you must check the schedule provided on the school website. For any inquiries about scheduling, feel free to contact Miss Kennedy at [email protected].
If you wish to request tutoring services, you will be required to follow the process outlined below:
- Complete the online registration form at least 24 hours prior to your desired tutoring time to attend a tutoring session: Tutoring Request Form
- Note that same-day tutoring requests will not be paired with a tutor.
- While we strive to accommodate all requests, please understand that tutoring availability depends on the synchronicity of NHS peer tutors' schedules with the students.
- If you submit tutoring request forms on the weekends for Monday sessions, please be aware that confirmation with an NHS peer tutor is necessary, and we cannot guarantee tutor availability for that Monday.
